The fact is, steam discussions is just incredibly inefficient to use for communication. This works perfectly well with other games, there's no reason it wouldn't work with this one. If you only want to be in the beta channels, you'll only be in the beta channels. You can even choose which channels show for you. You do not need to have billions of channels.

You can quickly talk to devs and other players, you can post screen shots and videos of the issues, and you can discuss in closed beta channels to avoid spoilers/NDA information. But that is only my opinion.ĭiscord is just 100% easier for this kind of stuff over Steam. It could backfire on them if they decided to go this route. The roadmap clearly has a June update, which is already late and they haven't said a peep to the steam community about it being delayed (aside from people who shared the information from the discord).
